About us

Everest Coatings was founded in 1996 at the Laboratory for Applied Inorganic Chemistry of the Delft University of Technology.

Our main activity is the development and production of ceramic coatings. The coatings are applied by means of  Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD), see Figure 1. With this technique coatings are formed out of gaseous species.

(Figure 1, Schematic representation of CVD, dissociation and subsequent reaction occur due to high(er) temperatures.).

At this moment

At this moment we are able to produce the coatings given in Table 1. Because the deposition process depends on the temperature, not all coatings can be applied on all product materials.  Besides ceramic coatings we have the possibility to deposit metal films (e.g. gold, platinum, silver, palladium) on any substrate.
